The annual Father’s Union celebration at the diocesan level was a remarkable event, bringing together fathers from across the diocese to honor their roles as spiritual leaders, family anchors, and community builders. This year’s celebration, held on 30th June 2024, was a day filled with inspiration, fellowship, and a renewed commitment to the values that strengthen our families and communities.
The celebration began with a heartfelt welcome from the Rt. Rev. Moses Banja, the Bishop of Namirembe Diocese, who emphasized the vital role fathers play in nurturing faith and moral values within their families. In his opening remarks, he said, “As fathers, you are the pillars of your families, the first teachers of faith, and the exemplars of love and integrity. Today, we celebrate your dedication and renew our commitment to supporting you in this noble calling.”
