On 10th November, St. Apollo Kivebulaaya Church of Uganda in Kansanga had the honor of hosting a special pastoral visit from the Bishop of Namirembe Diocese, The Rt. Rev. Moses Banja. This meaningful visit was centered around a confirmation ceremony for 34 new believers, marking their commitment to the Christian faith and the strengthening of their spiritual journey.
In a service filled with worship, praise, and powerful messages, the Bishop delivered an inspiring sermon emphasizing the essence of confirmation as a reaffirmation of faith. He encouraged the new confirmands to embrace their role within the church community and to grow as active disciples of Christ, committed to living out their faith in both words and actions. The Bishop’s presence and guidance brought a deep sense of unity, blessing, and joy to the congregation, underscoring the strength of the local faith community.
The church community warmly celebrated this occasion, standing alongside the confirmands as they embraced this significant step in their spiritual lives.
Thank you Rev for your frequent updates especially on the Church renovations. The recent pictures of that part of the roof that is rotten with mategula barely hanging left me troubled.
I think the estate/building team need to clearly explain to the congregants on what needs to be done to restore the roof. Some people really don’t understand these building things. They need simplified explanations. Otherwise I personally wish to thank you for the tedious work done
May you be blessed 🙌
