Fathers’ Union Leaders Training 2025
The Fathers’ Union leaders in Namirembe Diocese gathered for a transformative training session at the Namirembe Synod Hall. The training was presided over by the Bishop of Namirembe Diocese, Rt. Rev. Moses Banja, and he was ably assisted by the Cathedral Dean, Rev. Can. Dunstan Mazinga.
The event brought together Fathers’ Union leaders from various parishes across the diocese, focusing on equipping them with biblical, leadership, and organizational skills to enhance their service in both the church and their communities. Bishop Banja emphasized the critical role of Fathers’ Union leaders in upholding Christian values, fostering strong family foundations, and actively participating in church development. He called upon all leaders to remain steadfast in faith and committed to their responsibilities.
Rev. Can. Dunstan Mazinga highlighted the importance of unity and collaboration within the Fathers’ Union, urging leaders to mentor the younger generation and serve as exemplary Christian fathers. The training also included interactive discussions on key issues affecting families today, practical strategies for effective leadership, and spiritual guidance sessions.
The training ended with a commissioning prayer, sending the leaders back to their respective parishes with renewed vigor and commitment to their mission.
The Fathers’ Union remains a cornerstone of the church, playing a crucial role in strengthening families and communities through faith, leadership, and service.
