In a heartfelt demonstration of compassion and community service, Kansanga Parish  paid a visit to Sanyu Babies Home on the 22nd Feb 2025, reinforcing the values of Christian love and care for the vulnerable. The visit was marked by acts of kindness, donations, and moments of spiritual fellowship, embodying the biblical call to care for orphans and those in need.

Sanyu Babies Home, a long-standing institution dedicated to the welfare of abandoned and orphaned children, welcomed the Kansanga Parish team with warmth and gratitude. The visit was an opportunity for parish members to engage with the children, offering them not just material support but also emotional encouragement and prayers.

A Mission of Giving and Hope

The outreach team, comprising clergy, church leaders, and congregants, carried essential supplies, including foodstuffs, clothing, toiletries, and baby care items. These donations were carefully selected to meet the immediate needs of the home and alleviate some of the challenges faced in providing for the children.

Beyond material support, the visit was filled with moments of joy, interaction, and spiritual nourishment. Church members spent time playing with the children, sharing stories, and leading songs and prayers. The parish leadership also took the opportunity to encourage the caretakers at Sanyu Babies Home, acknowledging their tireless efforts in providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children.

Commitment to Community Engagement

The visit to Sanyu Babies Home aligns with Kansanga Parish’s broader mission of community service and outreach. The church remains committed to extending God’s love beyond its walls by actively participating in initiatives that uplift the vulnerable and marginalized.

Speaking during the visit, a representative from Kansanga Parish emphasized the importance of such engagements. “As a church, we are called to be the hands and feet of Christ. Visiting Sanyu Babies Home is not just about donations; it is about showing these children that they are loved, valued, and not forgotten,” they said.
