Ebenezer Church of Uganda, March 30th 2025

The Mothers’ Union Day was joyfully celebrated across the various sub parishes under Kansanga Parish, bringing together Christian mothers in fellowship, worship, and service. This special occasion honored the vital role that women play in the church and society, as they continue to nurture faith, strengthen families, and serve their communities.

A Day of Worship and Reflection

The celebrations began with a vibrant church service filled with praise, thanksgiving, and prayers led by the clergy and Mothers’ Union leaders. The theme of the day centered on the importance of godly motherhood and the impact of Christian women in shaping future generations. The sermon encouraged mothers to remain steadfast in faith and committed to their roles as spiritual nurturers in their homes and the church.

Unity and Fellowship

Mothers from different sub parishes gathered to share testimonies, experiences, and encouragement, fostering a strong sense of unity. The event served as a reminder of the power of collective prayer and mutual support in facing the challenges of modern family life.

Empowering Women for Ministry and Service

Workshops and discussions were held on topics such as strengthening family values, financial empowerment, and the role of women in church leadership. Speakers emphasized the importance of equipping women with biblical knowledge and practical skills to enhance their service to God and their communities.

A Celebration of Love and Commitment

The day was also marked by acts of charity, as the Mothers’ Union extended support to the needy, reflecting Christ’s love in action. Special moments included honoring elderly mothers who have been pillars of faith in the church and commissioning new members into the Mothers’ Union, affirming their commitment to Christian service.

Looking Ahead

As the Mothers’ Union continues its mission, the church remains committed to nurturing strong, faith-filled families. The event was a powerful reminder that mothers are not just caregivers but also spiritual leaders, educators, and change-makers in their communities.

We thank all who participated and contributed to making this day a success. May the Lord continue to bless and strengthen the Mothers’ Union as they uphold Christian values in homes and beyond.

To God be the glory!
