Naume Day 2025: A Celebration of Hope and Community at St. Apollo Kansanga C.O.U
On June 29th, 2025, St. Apollo Kansanga Church of Uganda (C.O.U) hosted Naume Day, a special event organized to support and empower widows in the community. The event brought together widows, community leaders, and supporters to share experiences, find support, and access resources.
A Day of Empowerment and Encouragement
The event featured inspiring speeches, workshops, and networking opportunities, all aimed at empowering widows to rebuild their lives and thrive. Attendees were encouraged by testimonies of resilience and hope, and equipped with practical skills and knowledge to overcome challenges. This was emphasized more by the preacher of the day, the Guest of honor – Counsel Byron Mwanje: More details about what was shared can be found in the pdf below(Click to download)
