On Sunday, 22nd June, Kansanga Parish Church of Uganda witnessed a joyful and spirit-filled occasion as the new Parish Priest was officially inaugurated. The service, which began promptly at 10:00 AM, was led by the Archdeacon of Luzira Archdeaconry – Ven. Rev. Can. Geofrey Kakooza

The congregation gathered in large numbers to celebrate and support the Rev. and Mama Christine Kyobe as they assumed their new pastoral role in the parish. Among the attendees were numerous visitors, family members, friends, and well-wishers who travelled from near and far to grace the memorable ceremony.

The day was marked by vibrant worship, heartfelt prayers, and words of encouragement for the new leadership. In his address, the Archdeacon emphasized the importance of servant leadership, unity, and faithfulness to God’s calling. He urged the congregation to work hand in hand with their new priest to further the mission and ministry of the church. The newly inaugurated Rev, Alex Kyobe highlighted  and mentioned what ought to be done for God’s mission of spreading the gospel to be a success. He called upon unity, support and togetherness from the Christians to achieve victory together.

Following the service, celebrations continued with warm fellowship and refreshments, as guests shared in the joy of this new chapter for Kansanga Parish.

We thank God for the life and ministry of Rev. Kyobe and Mama Christine Kyobe and pray for God’s wisdom, grace, and blessing upon their service among us.
