Biography

Rev. Alex Kyobe is a dedicated and spiritually driven individual, born on a significant Sunday, September 27, 1981.In September 1995, while in Primary Five at GM, He experienced the pivotal moment of accepting Christ as my Lord and Savior. This marked a transformative phase in his spiritual journey, laying the foundation for my lifelong commitment to serving the Lord. His journey of spiritual devotion began in 1992 when he joined the Namirembe Cathedral Choir, setting the stage for a lifelong commitment to serving a higher purpose.

His academic pursuits reflect a holistic approach to education, encompassing both the sciences and education. He successfully completed his Bachelor of Science with Education, specializing in Mathematics and Physics, from 2004 to 2007. This solid educational foundation became the cornerstone for his subsequent roles in teaching and spiritual leadership.

As a teacher at Mengo Senior School from 2007 to 2019, Rev. Kyobe not only imparted knowledge but also embraced the role of a compassionate class teacher from 2009 to 2019. His influence extended beyond the classroom as he served as the Librarian for the Namirembe Cathedral Choir from 1998 to 2009, fostering a love for literature and spiritual growth.

The years 2014 to 2018 were marked by Rev. Kyobe’s active involvement in the mission of the Namirembe Cathedral Choir, where he served as a pivotal member. His dedication to the spiritual community expanded as he assumed the role of Choir Master for the Namirembe Diocesan Choir during the same period.In 2014, Rev. Kyobe entered into a sacred union with Christine N. Kyobe, solidifying his commitment to family life.

This harmonious partnership complemented his spiritual journey, providing a foundation for his subsequent roles.

A pivotal chapter in Rev. Kyobe’s spiritual odyssey unfolded from 2019 to 2021 when he pursued and successfully attained a Master of Divinity from UCU. This academic achievement further deepened his understanding of spiritual matters, equipping him for more profound roles in the service of God.From 2019 to 2021, Rev. Kyobe assumed the position of Catechist at St. Paul Nsaggu Butega, embodying his commitment to sharing and imparting spiritual wisdom. This preparation laid the groundwork for his subsequent appointment as Reverend at St. Stephen’s Luzira COU from 2022 to 2023.

His multifaceted experiences reflect a profound connection to his faith, community, and the divine, making him a beacon of inspiration and guidance.
