Ord. Solomon Matovu, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bukenya Saulo of Bukasa, Kirinya, Wakiso District, was born in Ntebetebe, Bweyogerere. He was baptized at St. John’s Ntebetebe Church of Uganda, Kamuli Parish. His early education began at St. Golleti Nursery School. Following his family’s move to Bukasa, Kirinya, he continued his primary education at Bukasa Education Center and later completed his Primary Seven exams at Ebenezer Integrated Primary School.
Solomon pursued his O-Level education at Progressive Citizens High School in Mukono, where he became actively involved in the Scripture Union Ministry and dedicated his life to Christ in 2006. He completed his A-Levels at St. Joseph’s High School, Namagunga, and subsequently attended Makerere University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Solomon is married to Edith Matovu, and together they have two children: Samuel Victor Matovu and Shammah Tenda Matovu. From 2022 to 2023, Solomon served as a church layreader at St. Apollo, demonstrating his dedication to his faith and community.
Solomon’s academic, spiritual, and personal journey reflects his commitment to both personal and professional development, and he continues to uphold these values in his current endeavors.
