St. Apollo Kivebulaaya Church of Uganda, Kansanga, came together on 27 September 2026 for the Muteesa Zone Harvest, a joyful afternoon of thanksgiving, fellowship and generosity. Held at the home of Mrs. Wabbi, the harvest celebration brought together members of the zone to give thanks to God for His provision and to contribute towards the work and ministry of the Church. Themed “Bring Your Harvest,” the event was inspired by Proverbs 3:9: “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops.” The theme encouraged members to respond to God’s provision with gratitude and generous giving. A Harvest of Thanksgiving and Generosity The celebration provided an opportunity for members to present their harvest contributions while sharing in fellowship and thanksgiving. The gathering reflected the spirit of collective responsibility and commitment to supporting the Church through the gifts and resources entrusted to its members. A key highlight of the afternoon was the auction of various items, which generated significant participation from members and guests. Together with other proceedings from the event, the harvest raised more than UGX 5 million. The impressive contribution demonstrated the generosity of the Muteesa Zone and its commitment to supporting the Church's ministry and activities. Giving Back from God's Provision Beyond the financial contribution, the Muteesa Zone Harvest served as a reminder that thanksgiving is expressed not only through words but also through giving. The gathering created an atmosphere of joy, fellowship and gratitude as members celebrated God's faithfulness and reflected on the call to honour Him with their resources. The successful harvest was made possible through the collective participation and generosity of the Muteesa Zone members, as well as the hospitality extended by Mrs. Wabbi, who hosted the celebration. A Stronger Community Through Thanksgiving With over UGX 5 million raised, the Muteesa Zone Harvest 2026 stands as a testimony to what can be achieved when members come together in faith, unity and generosity. The celebration concluded with renewed gratitude for God's provision and a continued commitment to strengthening the work of St. Apollo Kivebulaaya Church of Uganda, Kansanga.
